The original Apple logo was based on Isaac Newton. This design, known as the “Newton Crest,” included a ribbon banner with the company name and a quote from William Wordsworth: “Newton… a mind forever voyaging through strange seas of thought… alone.”
The Physics
The row of balls represents the world as it is: a system that looks fixed and rule-bound. You reach in, pull one (or more) balls back, and release. The middle balls barely move, yet they transmit your momentum forward with precision. On the far side, an equal number of balls pop out.
In the real world, we could compare those middle balls to economics, culture, institutions. Status quo until you poke at them. Apply deliberate force, and something meaningful, even beautiful, can pop out the other side. And you'll definitely never know unless you try.

A quick way to remember which to pick: P for Perfect — use PNG when you want lossless quality and every detail preserved, like diagrams or logos. JPEG is lossy and compresses more aggressively, so file sizes stay smaller and writes are faster — a solid default for everyday photos when you do not need pixel-perfect fidelity.
